Principal Chiropractor Dr Nathalie Willis, has been practising for 17 years, after graduating from Macquarie University Sydney completing a three year Bachelor of Science degree and a two year Masters of Chiropractic.
She has practiced in various clinics in Australia and enjoyed practicing in Ireland for 2 years before permanently settling in this area, where she purchased Hamilton Chiropractic Clinic in 2006.
Nathalie has always had keen interest in pregnancy and post natal care. Around fifty percent of women experience significant levels of back or pelvic pain during pregnancy and Nathalie understands this first hand having two young children herself.
Doctors of Chiropractic adapt their techniques to accommodate the changes in the mother’s body shape and range of movement throughout all stages of pregnancy. Nathalie tends to utilise the Chiropractic Activator Technique, which is a gentle, low force approach suiting all ages as well as manual adjusting techniques, soft tissue procedures and rehabilitative advice.
Nathalie also has a special interest in patients who present with postural dysfunction disorders resulting from too much “sitting” and technology use. These problems can commonly present as neck and back pain, headaches, shoulder and arm pain. With a tailored treatment plan addressing not only the site of pain but origin of dysfunction and combining this with ergonomic advice and exercises, patients can achieve optimal health and comfort.
